Data entry for payroll takes a long time

I note that another user - AaronA - mentioned back in January that the time taken to complete data entry for payroll processing when using the online version of MYOB - MYOB Business - is significantly longer than previous versions of MYOB.

We have begun to use the online version rather than the desktop version of AccountRight to process our payroll over the past three weeks and it is definitely a much slower process than we previously experienced.

We were hoping to use the online version of MYOB to improve our payroll process and ensure our STP figures were accurate as the ATO has begun to use these figures to populate our BAS/PAYG returns, however the slowness of inputting the payroll is causing alot of frustration for our payroll staff as it is taking much longer to do the data entry.

The issue is that each time you enter a number into a field, the employees pay recalculates and you have to wait - sometimes for up to 30 seconds - before moving onto the next line. If an employee has 5 or 6 different wage categories, allowances etc to enter it takes a number of minutes to complete the employees pay.

In the desktop version of AccountRight, you can enter all the fields first and then the employees pay calculates.

I can see in the comments from back in February that Chris from MYOB Community Support was going to raise this issue with the developers - however six months later the same issue still exists. Disappointing.
