Delete approved timesheet

Hiya

Got 'click happy' on Teams and approved a timesheet that was obviously wrong

How do I delete the Approved Timesheet?

Payroll has not been submitted and I cannot find any way to Unapprove or amend an incorrect submission?

Must be there but I can't find it!

 

There is a previous post about this but it no longer works:

 

If the timesheet has already been used to process payroll you'll need to delete the recorded pay first before you can delete the timesheet. In order to delete the timesheet, please follow the steps given below: 

 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu > Timesheets.

  2. Choose the employee and the week of the timesheet you want to delete.

  3. Click Delete Timesheet

There is no option to click Delete Timesheet - just a series of greyed out check boxes

    Thank you for the post. I'll be glad to assist you with this. The reason there is no option to Delete Timesheet, because the approved timesheet has been deleted automatically.

    So...

    How do I Correct, Delete , Amend, or Edit the 'Approved Timesheet'?

    So on further inspection:

    - There is no method to Delete an approved timesheet - the old (2022) instructions are invalid

    - I just ignore the timesheet auto entered info in Payroll and input the correct info, manually

     

    Is that about it?

    Hi HowardN,

    Thanks for your response. Deleting an approved timesheet is not possible as per the current instructions. The old (2022) guidelines are no longer valid because the timesheet will be automatically deleted in two weeks. Instead, simply disregard the auto-entered timesheet information in Payroll and manually input the correct details. The final step is to delete the recorded pay.
