FILE STP

STP keeps getting rejected

 

Business ABN, Tax Agent ABN and Tax Agent number are all correct.

 

Software Id has been added to Tax Agent Portal.

 

Keep getting errorr 111

    Hi Tz77

     

    STP error 111 isn’t a common one. Did you mean CMN.ATO.AUTH.011 instead? If so, this error usually pops up when the client you’re reporting for isn’t linked to the Agent ABN. It might be worth resetting up your STP to address this.

    Yes that is the error.

    As per original message all settings Agent ABN, Client ABN and  Tax Agent Number are correct.

    Client is also on Tax Agent Portal

    What else could be a reason?

    Do you have a function like Xero where you can look into the software to locate issues?

    Hi Tz77,

     

    That error, CMN.ATO. AUTH.011, can be a bit tricky. Even if all the ABN and Tax Agent details seem right, it’s worth checking if the client’s ABN has proper permissions or matches exactly with the ATO records—small mismatches can cause issues. MYOB doesn’t provide that sort of deep access tool, however we do have a range of diagnostics and resources to help troubleshoot these issues.
