Payroll

I'm trying to enter pays back from February to currently for the first time because I couldn't enter them because superannuation was rejected from the super clearing house for some of our employees because of an interface issue. I'm putting the date 17/2/22-2/3/22 paid 3/3/22. It lets me go to record to ATO but then comes up with this message

An unrecognised error occurred - EmployeePaymentTemplateHourlyWagesLine_EntitlementPayrollCategoryMissing
Next to the base salary item it has a (i) says all salaried employees must be linked to the  base salary wage item. How do I do all this please?

This error can occur if one or more wage categories in the pay run are missing the ATO reporting category.

You will need to check each wage category in the pay run and ensure that each wage category has an ATO reporting category associated with it. This can be done by opening the wage category from the Payroll menu, and choosing the ATO reporting category. Don’t forget to click Save to ensure that the ATO reporting category selection has been saved.

Once all of the wage categories on pay have an ATO reporting category assigned, the pay should be able to be reported without any errors.
