Thanks for your post. Please allow me to extend to you a very warm welcome to the Community Forum. Thank you for expressing your concern to us. We apologize that you are having difficulties in submitting your STP due to the error code and we appreciate your patience during this time.

This error message refers to a previous year when STP reporting did not occur. You will need to prepare a payment summary for these employees. This could happen if the employee has not been paid since setting up STP and you are now in a new financial year.

I have included a helpful article on fixing rejected reports in STP, including this error code and others.

    Hi cherie8

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

You are trying to do an update event for a previous payroll year where there are no reported amounts to update. You will need to prepare a payment summary for these employees.

If you are using this, you will need to complete a manual payment summary for the employee using forms available from the ATO.

Feel free to post again anytime you require further assistance.
