STP reporting showing NIL on ATO portal

Hi Everyone,

I have lodged payroll with the ATO but it is coming accross as NIL on the STP reporting on the TAP.   It is also showing NIL on the STP reporting on MYOB but is correct when you print the normal payroll reports.

 

I think it may be as I forget to tick that this is a "New pay run"  instead of an "update".?

 

Note that the view YTD verification amounts on STP reporting for each employee is correct.

 

How can I fix this?  Or is it an MYOB glitch?

We appreciate your patience during this time. This issue might be related to whether the payroll was marked as a "new pay run" or an "update." If you forgot to tick "new pay run," the system might not have registered the payroll correctly, leading to the NIL reports. However, without more specific information, it's hard to say definitively. If you are still having the same issue, we recommend refreshing your MYOB account by clearing the cache and cookies of the browser and then checking the report.

     

    Regarding the difference between "new pay run" and "update," typically "new pay run" is used when you are creating a completely new payroll for a period, while "update" is used when you are making changes to an already existing payroll.

     

    Let me know if you are still seeing the same after trying the recommended workaround.
