Superannuation hasn't arrived at its destination

Over the past 2 years I have paid around $7000 dollars into one employees superanntuation account. I have only just discovered that i had the wrong details. The super never arrived in thier fund, however I never recieved a refund - where is the money and how do I get it into the correct account?

    Thanks for your post, and Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

     

    If you were able to process the super contribution and never received a refund, we highly recommend speaking with the super fund that you have on file for the employee. Also, if you can provide the details of the super fund on files such as SPIN/USI and ABN so that we can check if the super fund is still active.

     

    Once the super fund issue a refund, you may need to record it as a Receive money and then reprocess the super payments. Kindly check The Help Article Returned superannuation contributions for further information.
