WC Payments STP Finalisation

Hi there MYOB I am needing help on Finalisation of STP for 2025.

 

I have a client that has paid payments for Workers Compensation (WC) to an employee throughout the year. The WC payments have been included in each "payevent" and should have been reporting in STP weekly reporting.  On review to reconcile end of year the WC payments do not show within the Gross Payments amounts being shown in the Finalisation Report.  On checking in the Payroll Settings - Pay Items show the WC  Reporting Category is Gross payments.

 

Can you guide me in anything to bring the WC payments under STP Finalisation?

    Hi 8061503​,

     

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thanks so much for all the work you’ve already put in, making sure the WC payments go through with each pay and checking out the reporting categories.  

      

    At this point, it’s worth double-checking whether your Workers Comp pay item is set as PAYG exempt by mistake. If it is, just update the setting and send through an update event. After that, check your Finalisation report again and see if those WC payments show up.
