Exporting Supplier contacts

I am trying to export supplier contacts to Tradify. Tradify was able to import customers easily. However I have to upload a .csv file for the supplier contacts. How can I do this on MYOB business PRO? None of the suggestions (mostly from years ago) work now.  It will only let me export chart of accounts or items list.

Any ideas on how to extract supplier contact list even if its just to excel would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Amanda

  • Hi SamS18,

Good pick-up! In MYOB Business Pro there’s no File menu; that navigation is for AccountRight desktop. Here’s how to get it done in Business Pro. Use the gear icon > Import and export data for things like Accounts, Items (and Categories). For contacts, run the Contacts report (Reporting > Reports > Business tab > Contacts) and export to Excel. For other info (sales, purchases, GL, etc.), run the relevant report and export to Excel/PDF from Reports.

    Hi Amanda,

You can use the Import/Export Assistant feature within MYOB Business Pro to export supplier contacts in .csv file.

Please use this navigation path: MYOB Business Pro > File > Import/Export Assistant > Export data > Cards > Supplier Cards

    Hope this helps.

I am trying to find the answer to this same question. The response above says "Please use this navigation path". I am in MYOB Business Pro but there is no 'file' option. Can someone please assist? As per Amanda's initial query, I can only find the 'Import and Export Data' option under settings, and that only gives me the option of exporting the Chart of Accounts or Items list.
