Deleting obsolete inventory items

The old inventory items cannot be deleted if they have been used in a transaction before, but you can inactivate them and add zzz in the beginning of their names so they are pushed at the end of the inventory drop down list. This would make selection of items easier.

With those numbers, probably best to use the approach as outlined by Komal_S. If you had several thousand I could suggest a 3rd party that does this in bulk, however due to cost (approx $275) not worth it for such small numbers.

Whereas it's not directly possible in AccountRight, you can look at third party apps that offer it or choose to start a new company file by exporting and importing the required data. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused due to this.

I have about 200 items to remove. No housekeeping has been done for the last 10 years or so.
