Inventory Items- COGS

Hi there,

I need to create a new inventory item and I am having trouble. 

When setting up the inventory item I have applied the following accounts
 "I buy this item" - "Barrels Purchased - COGS account"
"I sell this item"- "Barrels Sold " "Income Account"
"I inventory this item" - Inventory "Asset account"

I have 8 COGS accounts in my system and cannot just choose one. I need to be able to track all of my costs related to this inventory item, but I cannot figure out how. 

Can you please help me.
