Cannot update hourly rate

Good morning,

• I cannot update employees hourly rate, the programme will not allow me to enter a figure in the rate box! 

This is the second problem I have with Essentials.

• The other major problem is that I cannot allocate transactions in Banking. Just get the dreaded purple  wheel going round and round. Ha e contacted MYOB helpdest of trying for 3 days but they were unable to resole the problem.

I really need these problems resolved but can't do another 2 - 3 hour wait on the helpdesk, to be cut-off, then not have the problem resolved.
