bulk update selling prices from excel when getting error -4077

I need to bulk update all our item selling prices in Myob Account Right. I've never done it before so I thought I'd test it first with just one item. No matter what I try I keep getting the import error -4077. I understand this means that the item has sales recorded for it and that I can do it by going into each item and ticking that I inventory it but is there any other way to do it? If I have to go into each item and alter it I might as well just update each item individually so I assume there must be a quicker way. Can anyone help please?

Hi hparkinson1 , welcome to the forum. That message indicates that there is a corruption in the price level data of your file. You will have to ask MYOB support to run a script on your file to correct it. They may be contactable today via chat.

Importing prices is an efficient process, but even if you don't use multiple price levels, be sure to include the Quantity break 1 field with a 0 in it. Also don't try to import more than 500 lines at one time.

Starting small as you have is the best way to go.

      Thanks Mike.

I wondered if it was just a critical step I was skipping. Thanks for your advice and for pointing me in the right direction.
