Correcting a receipt
Hi
I need to change a receipt number. The receipt for the payment was recorded on an order which was two days later changed into an invoice and now it won't let me change the receipt number as I recorded the wrong number. It also won't let me delete the payment or the invoice so that I can re-enter the correct receipt number. This receipt was only issued this month.

If the payment was applied to an order which was then converted to the invoice, the payment gets locked and cannot be edited. The only way to change it would be by reversing the entire invoice and then applying the refund to start the process again from scratch.
