Items Register

When I run the Items register (Summary) report as at a date, it shows the no. of items on hand, but when I click into an item to look at the detail, the balance in the report does not agree to the transcations running balance as at the last transaction on the date selected.

Its like its randomly selecting a transaction in the middle of the date selected, rather than the last transaction on that date.

 

I'm trying to balance physical stock take to MYOB. 

 

Can someone assist?

    Hi Bradworthington 

     

    Suggest you use the Inventory Value Reconciliation (IVR) Report - it is much more reliable than the Items Register reports which have numerous bugs yet to be fixed.

     

    The IVR will give you the correct on hand count as at the specified date. It will also give you the value of the item in the item register which should match with the balance of the Inventory account. If not, a stocktake is a good time to fix it all up.
