mystery credit balance on expense

Hi I am reviewing the client's MYOB account and discovered that is 1million in credit balance on COGS . it is  from an invoice #00111141 see the attahced . But the invocie itself has no issue at all . see the attached . Could you please advise what went wrong ?

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community Forum. 

     

    I'm sorry to hear about the COGS having an unknown credit balance. Unfortunately, this screenshot alone could not explain why there is a credit balance on this account. As this invoice does not show any amounts that correspond to the 1 million credit balance, I suggest checking the Accounts Transaction report from the Accounts report to see what transactions are causing the value. Also, we could check the opening balance of this account, as that could also be the cause of the credit balance.

    Thanks for your reply. I did check the transaction report and opening balance. There is no issues.

     

    The screen shot shows that purchase invoice #00111141 was posted as credit given to the supplier for -198.86. However, COST transactions list shows this invoice posted as - 1160927.9. 

     

    Is there anyway you can login this account and take a look ?
