Problem with trying to email or print invoices in a locked period

Hi, we would like some help here please.

Upon trying to email or print an invoice in a locked period we get a message saying "You can't edit sales in a locked Period" and we should refer to the security tab.

We are not trying to edit, just trying to re-print or email.

So this means that every time we need to re-send an invoice to a customer or print an invoice say in the month of June, we can't do that unless we unlock June or the month it was created.

This is not right and has only started occurring since the last MYOB update. It leaves our financial information upon to error if the periods are constantly being locked and unlocked.

Please MYOB advise on this and when it will be fixed

Thank you

With the solutions re not being able to email invoices in locked period.

When using the web browser or the 'print /email invoices' tab, can you still send invoices via outlook, or do they have to be sent from AccountRight?   I cannot seem to get this option to work.

This issue is causing great grief in our business.

Surely your 'experts' can fix this issue in less than weeks!!!???????

    Hi cramptons,

We're really sorry for the inconvenience this is causing your business. Our team is actively working on a fix that will be released in the upcoming update. Please bear with us as we work towards a solution.

In the meantime, you can still send invoices by entering the email address in the "reply to email address" tab when using the web browser or the 'print/email invoices' tab. For more details, check out this Help article: Email, SMS, or print sales.

Feel free to get in touch if there's anything else we can assist you with.

    Cheers,

    MYOB
