Purchase Order Numbers and Attachments

We are in the process of moving away from a paper based Purchase order system and towards using MYOB to create our Purchase Orders. 

2 things that I need : 

1. How do I make it so that ALL my Purchase Orders start with the letters HW? 

2. How do I attach documents to my Purchase Orders? Often we send technical drawings with our purchase orders which we usually staple to the paper PO, but now it would need to be attached to the MYOB PO.

    Thanks for reaching out. 

     

    In AccountRight, the PO numbers automatically generated are all numeric and there is no way to add prefix letters to customize it. As after customizing the PO number the next PO number would still generate as numeric and would not use the previously used prefix. I could understand how having this feature would be useful as not everyone uses just numbers for Purchase orders. Rest assured we will raise this to the team as a suggestion. 

     

    For the other question you have, the only way we could attach documents to the purchase orders if via Working with In Tray documents
