START UP PROBLEM

The latest problem to add to the list of unsolvable/unsupported problems.

 

Why do I need to sign in multiple times with no response after entering my email address?

    Thanks for your post.

     

    Are you receiving any error messages when signing in? If yes, kindly send us a screenshot of the error. Make sure to remove sensitive information before posting in the Forum. If not, please try using a different browser and clearing your browser cache. Please let us know how it goes on your end.

    No error msgs,  just a very long time between each step.  This is regardless of the PC boot up, ie warm or cold start, the first login in of the day or later.

    Thanks for your response.

     

    If there are no error messages, logging in multiple times is due to the new update. When using live services, it will ask again for the email address and password even after logging in to your account. Kindly check your internet connection, making sure everything is okay, as it may take time for the browser or the software to respond if there's an issue with the connection.

    Why do you have an update that requires multiple login attempts?  Cache problem at your end, not mine.

     

    That's just sloppy programming or setup at your server end.

     

    Again MYOB bugs and faults that are never ending, nor ever corrected.

     

    Look at the backup splash screen, for example, Your last backup was 1200 days ago.

    Are you ever going to correct any of the bugs in this software and help your clients?

    This issue has already been raised with the relevant team. If you've taken a backup and can see where it was saved, please ignore the message. You can click the "Don't show again" button. Please refer to the screenshot below. 

     

     

     

    We do apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will post any update if there's any regarding the issue. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

    If the issue has already been raised, (quite some time ago), why hasn't a simple fix been forthcoming?  This is an example of even a simple solution being ignored by MYOB.

     

    By the way - when you do click don't show again, the backup doesn't work.

    We are still waiting for an update from the relevant team, as they haven't given us a timeframe. Rest assured, once there is an update, we will keep you posted.

     

    Did you receive any error messages after you clicked "Don't show again"? You may also log out and then log back into your account to see if the message still appears.

    As I've already told you - so here goes AGAIN.....

     

    If you tick the box "don't show again"  then there's NO BACKUP offered when you close the program.

    By ticking the "Don't show again", there will be no notification offered to create the backup when closing the program. If you wish to create a backup, you may refer to the Help Article: Back up your company file for more information. If you want the backup reminder to show again, kindly check the Help Article: Back up your company file before closing.
