Unable to export excel files

Hi, I cannot export excel files from MYOB.

It shows "the file may be corrupted, located on a server that is not responding, or read-only"

I also reinstalled the program but it still doesn't work.

    Hi Neuaprae

     

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum. I hope you find plenty of useful information.

     

    We're sorry to know that you're getting an error exporting excel file. Since you have done reinstalling and the issue still occur, we recommend doing the following steps below: 

     

    • Go to Excel Options Dialog-box> Trust center> Trust center settings> Add new location (select the folder where you have saved .XLT files).
    • In trust center settings go to File Block Settings check mark the Open & Save on your versions of excel template.
       

    Do let me know how it goes after.

    No, it doesn’t work and still come up the same thing. Do you have any other way to solve this issue?

    Hi Neuaprae , if I may add, have you reinstalled the program "as administrator". That is, download the installer program, then right-click that file and choose "Run as Administrator". This may resolve the issue (if you did not do that).

  • Hi, I have reinstalled and run as administrator already but it still doesn't work.

    Please help me for this issue. What's the main reason of it?

    My apologies for the late reply. We appreciate your patience with this matter. As you followed the following steps above and you’re still unable to export an excel file. We recommend trying to export again, then immediately attach the log to a reply. See the diagnostic log for details of where to find it.

     

    We will be waiting for your response with the diagnostic log so that we can check it further.

    It appears that the log you've shared was generated immediately after the error occurred. To gain a better understanding of the issue, could you please send us the full error log? You can find instructions on how to locate the complete error log in this forum post.
