We regret that you are facing issues when creating a bank file because of the error message you are getting. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and we are grateful for your patience and understanding.
In this matter, you would need to troubleshoot first by checking that the software has access to the directory by making sure the Anti-Virus is not involved. Either by temporarily disabling this and restarting AccountRight to be sure or to re-set the Exclusions in the Anti-Virus see Speed and performance tips.
Failing this, you may try running the software as an Administrator by right clicking the desktop shortcut and choosing "Run as Administrator" and see how this goes.
If this continues to fail, I have seen similar issues get fixed by reinstalling the software.
