Emailing an ABA file

Good morning

Is it possible to email the Electronics Payments file created in AccountRight.  The business owner wants to process the payroll on their laptop and I'm having concerns with getting the ABA file to them.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks

Jo

Regarding your question, yes, it is possible to email the Electronic Payment file that you created in AccountRight by downloading it and emailing the file to you. Another option is if you have payroll access you may create the ABA file. You may find more information and instructions in our Help Article Making electronic payments with a bank file

      Thanks Leneth,

But I tried to email the ABA file but it was not recognized by the other Laptop.

Do I need to install AccountRight on the other Laptop.

      Thanks

      Jo

Hi, thanks for getting back to us. Apologies for the delay in responding and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

On this matter, once you download the bank file it will not require you to have AccountRight on your device. When it is not recognizing the bank file, could you please confirm if you are getting any error messages? Also, can you please provide me with a screenshot of that exact error message? Please hide/remove any sensitive employee/business details from screenshots posted publicly.

Please let me know if you need further help.

        Cheers,
        Leneth
