Entitlements Records

We have always kept manual records of annual leave entitlements but want to set up entitlements in MYOB.  We have employees who have been with us for 10 years or more.  There are Carry over, year to date and total amunts but no balance adjustments.  What date should I use to calculate the balance adjustment?

    Thanks for your post.

     

    The balance adjustment column in general is for manual adjustments to leave balances from the employee card and is typed into by the employer. If the leave balance is incorrect you may put a negative or positive number in the balance adjustment.

     

    For example, your employee has 54 hours leave balance but it must be 30 hours only, you may need to type in -24 in balance adjustment to correct the leave balance. If the leave balance is 30 hours but it must be 45 hours you may need to type in +15 in the balance adjustment to correct it.
