Thanks for your post. The leave accrual will depend on the number of hours paid for payroll categories that have not been excluded from entitlement calculations. For example, with an employee set up with the Pay frequency as Monthly, paid 173.333 hours of base hourly (40 hour week) and the entitlement calculation as 7.6923%, annual leave will accrue 13.333 hours per pay period. 13.333 x 12 months = 160 hours accrued per year.
If leave is accruing incorrectly, check the number of hours being paid in the pay period. Also check the excluded payroll categories by opening the leave entitlement payroll category>>click on Exempt and make sure only payroll categories that should be excluded from the calculation are ticked.
