In Progress Pay Run not accessible in AccountRight Desktop

I am in the middle of a pay run and saved it 2 days ago. When I opened the Process Payroll option it came up with this dialogue box. The dates are all non-sense as the pay run is for the period 1 Aug 2024 to 31 Aug 2024. The payrun is available to continue working on in MYOB Business online but not accessible via desktop.  

 

How can this be fixed in AccountRight and what has caused this?

    Hi DCMcLellan,

     

    I see that you're having issues with saved pay runs showing incorrect pay period dates. To fix the issue where the pay run saved is not accessible via the desktop version of AccountRight and the dates in the Process Payroll dialogue box are incorrect, you can check the workaround provided below. 

     

    • Reopen the Pay Run. Open the pay run in the online version, make a minor change (like adding a note), save it again, and then try accessing it via the desktop version. 
    • Click "Continue. On AccountRight desktop version, click on "Continue" to go ahead with the saved pay run and see if there's any further issues.

    I am having the same issues. I tried the workaround suggested by Doreen, however the issue still is unresolved. I am still unable to access my draft payrun. Do you have another solution I can try?

    Hi Nicko_halkinbp,

     

    Thanks for giving Doreen's workaround a go. Since it didn't fix the issue, the best thing to do now is to start a new pay run. 

     

    This hiccup usually happens when changes are made to pay items or an employee's card file after you've saved a pay run. To keep this from happening again, aim to make any necessary tweaks before starting a pay run.
