If you were wanting to merge payroll categories and they are the exact same, the only way I would know how to do this would be to transfer the YTD totals (hours & $) from 1 category to the other with a payroll adjustment, similar to the steps in the Adjusting leave entitlements help article. However, you would be transferring the YTD $ figure AND the YTD hours by placing a negative total hours and $ in the payroll category you're transferring from, and a positive figure in the payroll category you're transferring to. The net pay should then zero out and balance, and no super or PAYG should be calculated
