MYOB Employee entitlements report showing incorrect balances

Hi,

 

I have started MYOB part way through this FIN YEAR with employees. I entered the YTD values into the YTD pay history window for entitlements of sick leave and annual leave.

In the entitlements screen the balance shown is correct, including the opening balances I entered in the YTD pay history window plus the accrued amounts for the first 2 payruns done in MYOB. 

Problem is I have found that the entitlements report is showing a balance of

YTD opening balances x 2

accrued amounts for pay runs done in MYOB.

 

the actual balances seems correct however the entitlements report is wrong and doubling the opening entitlements values.

 

Is there a way to fix this? as for reporting purposes this is very confusing

    Thanks for posting your concern in the forum, 

     

    I understand how confusing the YTD values are. In my understanding, the cause of the double amount value of the YTD Entitlement is that you edited the pay history YTD values. Since the opening balances are already in the file, you won't need to edit the pay history of the employees as the values will automatically fill out when doing a pay run. I would suggest adjusting the YTD values based on the opening balances you've added to correct these values.
