Overtime calculation for 2nd pay rate

Hi there

 

We are implementing a new pay rate system where the employee has a base rate, for example grade 1, grade 2, grade 3 etc up to grade 6, all grades are different rates of pay and the employee will also be paid a top up allowance, these allowances start at level 1 and go up to level 19 and are also different rates, both pay rates need to be different pay categories and overtime is payable on both, can anyone suggest an easy way to set these up please?

    Thank you for your response, I've had a look at those 2 topics but unfortunatly they don't describe an easier way to set up overtime calculations on each pay category, the overtime will only calculate on the first category being the grade level and not on the top up level, I think to make it work, I'll have to have an overtime category for each grade & top up level, so that will be 6 different ones for the grade levels and 19 for the top up levels, if that makes sense?
