REVERSED PAYS RECORDS POSITIVE LEAVE ENTITLEMENTS - WARNING

Question

We are having major issues with all our leave entitlement balances.

Today, I had to run an adjustment pay to an employee, this is her first pay.

The first pay recorded the following entitlements

12.667 Annual Leave

6.333 Personal Leave

Reversal Pay recorded

-12.667 Annual Leave

-6.333 Personal Leave

But this was recorded and added to her balance in card and payslip

10.269 Annual Leave

5.135 Personal Leave

Plus

Corrected pay

12.667 Annual Leave

6.333 Personal Leave

TOTAL BALANCES NOW 35.603 for annual leave and 17.801 for personal leave when they only should be

12.667 Annual Leave

6.333 Personal Leave

Can someone please help, I can't trust MYOB to record any leave entitlements anymore!

Thank you for your post. In AccountRight we uses entitlement payroll categories to track your employees' leave balance. If you have process an incorrect pay, you'll need to reverse a pay. Once the pay was reverse it will record a negative pay and you'll need to reprocess the correct payroll again. If reversing and reprocessing pay doesn't work &nbsp;you can manually adjust the incorrect leave balances by recording a void pay to adjust the leave balances.
