Termination in July24

Hi, I'll appreciate your help with Termination.

An employee worked to 17.7.2024 and terminated on 18.7.2024

In STP section: Payroll year 2024/25 - Employee terminations- the employee terminate date : 18.7.2024, termination reason: Dismissal.

 

I printed payroll report for April to June. This employee is showing terminated also on Payroll year 2023/2024 and all reports Payroll June2024. 

 

I do not understand, what happen. The Terminated employe worked from 1/7.2024 to 16/7/2024. I understand this period and termination would belong to payroll 2024-2025.

  • Hi Ronechka,

     

    I see you're wondering why a terminated employee is still showing up in your payroll reports. This could be due to when their employee card file was added to the system. If the card file was added in June, even though they only worked from July 1st to 16th, the system might still include their details in the report. But if you added the employee on July 1st, the same day they started, then we might be dealing with a more complex issue that needs further investigation. I highly suggest getting in touch with our live chat. To get through to a live chat agent, you will need to get in touch first with our virtual assistant, MOCA, through myob.com/support. MOCA will then transfer you directly to our live chat team.

    Hi Princess,

    I am more confused now; the employee was added long time ago.

    I spoke with MYOB support and the answer is I don't have to worry.

    It seems I have to investigate more, thank you for your answer.

    Thanks for your response! As long as the employee was terminated in the correct payroll year, you're good to go. If you're still unsure or need more clarification, our MYOB support team is always ready to help. Additionally, you can submit a support ticket via My Account and they'll surely look into this for you.
