Import data or files from MYOB v14 to the latest version

Hi everyone

I'm asking on behalf of my customer; he's been using MYOB v14 for his role, and he realised that it's no longer supported. So we're planning to upgrade his MYOB to the latest version; however, I'd like to know whether it's possible to import or open his data from MYOB v14 in the newer version. Could anyone please advise me on what to do? Any guide or article would be appreciated. Thanks

MYOB V14 hasn't been supported for about 20 years. If they mean, the file won't be confirmed due to MYOB's plan to discontinue confirmations, then there is a third party provider who can do this (FGH Tables) at a reasonable costs if they are interested.

    Cheers

    Hi Franco_9

Totally get wanting to keep all the history when you move off the old software, that’s what most folks are worried about.

In the past, you could just upgrade your old file straight into the latest AccountRight yourself (even offline). These days, it still can be upgraded, but MYOB’s migration team needs to do that part for you.

The best place to point you is this page, which runs through the current process step‑by‑step:
