Hi CarolD1
Thanks for your post. Sorry to see that no one has replied to you yet.
You will be able to access your company file without a subscription in read-only. If you have the backup of the company file you may Restore your company file locally.

Thanks Leneth_A
One more question, would that file be accessible in the cloud or just on a local drive with Myob installed?
Thanks,
Carol

Hi CarolD1
Once the subscription is canceled, it will have an end date on our end. After the end date, the file will not be available on the cloud if your file is online. You will only have access to a read-only file and you will access it on a local drive.
Please don't hesitate to post again if you need help in the future.

Thanks Leneth_A - that's what I thought might be the case.
I have another question :-)
We were advised by an accountant to start a new Myob file because we wanted to completely change the chart of accounts. We had a NFP subscription to Accountright Plus and this only covers one company file. As we need to access FY23 until audited, we need to run two files concurrently. Myob was unable &/or unwilling to upgrade our subscription from Plus to Premier, so my manager has purchased a new subscription for Premier. My query now is, will I be able to open my current Myob file (FY23) in the new subscription so that we can end the old subscription?

Hi CarolD1
In this matter, when you have a new AccountRight Premier subscription you will be able to upload your file from AccountRight Plus. You would need to have a backup of the company file before canceling the subscription. Also, you would need a new entitlement in AccountRight Premier to access the uploaded company file.
