Change of Ownership

Can someone please assist with my issue - Change of Ownership

  1. What is the classification required to be setup as the owner? The owners or our business (our directors) are not involved in the day to day operations of the business - is it possible to have their nominated delegate as owner - delegation details are visible on the Australian Business Register via Relationship Manager.
  2. How do I go about making the change, the previously nominated person is no longer employed.  How do I access the most current form, I believe the form I have will now be outdated.

    I need to speak to someone in support as our company structure is not covered in the options on the form - I cannot see a phone support number - where is the support number located on the website?

      Hi Doreen, thank you for your response - I would like to be able to finalise the signing of the form to the Board meeting next week - can you please clarify the process, the form appears to be for the change of ownership of the company - this is not occurring - our directors delegate ownership of the software to a senior operational staff member, I would like to ensure we complete the form correctly so there is no disruption, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. 

      • the current owner is our previous CEO
      • the new owner will be our Finance Manager
      • Our previous CEO is unable to be contacted to sign the forms
      • Can our directors sign  instead of the previous CEO - if so where on the form do they sign?

      How do we complete the form in this scenario?

        Hi cfomarthakal,

         

        The same change of details form will apply for your use case. Since the software ownership is just delegated, the appointed Director can sign the documents. It's also best to provide supporting documents to verify their appointment as the Director. These documents can include an ASIC extract, Minutes of Meeting (MOM), or Annual General Meeting (AGM) records. The documents must be signed by the Director, CEO, or President and should be dated in 2025 for verification purposes.
