Hi SJBK,
Thanks for chiming in— it really helps to hear from others who are experiencing the same thing with dictionary. There's an ongoing issue with the spell check and we recommend turning off the auto spell check. You can then continue to use the manual spell at the bottom of the purchases screen.
Cheers,
Doreen

Hi Shella,
I did check regional settings, language and folder permissions as Windows did a major update yesterday as well.
This made no difference.
I deleted MYOB's cache files, rebooted PC and this has stopped the Custom dictionary problem,....can't say if this was the reason for a solution....

Hi Albare,
If AccountRight's spell check is highlighting all words as incorrect and there's no way to add words. Try checking your computer’s language settings and folder permissions, that usually helps sort it out. You can find the steps here. If you’re still having trouble despite following the steps, consider connecting with our live chat agents through our virtual assistant, MOCA or by submitting a support case via MyAccount for further assistance.
Regards,
Shella

After last nights update dictionary problem as resurfaced...and it's picking up a spelling error for the word "sale;" in the Journal Memo field of our invoices. The custom dictionary is greyed out and you cannot add the word .

Hi there JanetteLR
That must be frustrating! If you still can't add words to dictionary, you can check this link instead for more info.

I am also having problems since the last update, with the spell check thinking every word is spelt wrong in sales and purchases. I am also using the desktop version. I cannot add words to the dictionary, nor does ignore all work.
