InvalidFingerprint (1000014) error on newly uploaded online file — Trust entity

Hi MYOB team,

We recently migrated a company file for a family trust from offline to online. The steps completed were:

  1. Purchased a new AccountRight subscription for the trust entity
  2. Changed the serial number on the offline file to match the new subscription (via AccountRight 2026.4, Help > Change Serial Number)
  3. Uploaded the file online using "Upload Offline File" in AccountRight 2026.5

The upload appeared to complete successfully, but when we now try to open the file, we get:

"Something's gone wrong and AccountRight needs to close"
Error code: InvalidFingerprint (1000014)

Details:

  • Serial number (last 4 digits): 9915
  • Company file name: The Tyquin Family Trust
  • Product level: Plus

Could someone please run the fix script over this file in the cloud so we can access it? Happy to provide further diagnostic details if needed.
