Make back up

I am using MYOB AccountRights online version, and can anyone tell me how to make a back up , i need to send a copy to a business partner. i understand the system is taking care doing back up regular...

Hi MSIT,

Having offline backups certainly can be handy. If your file is online, those backups are restore points only. They’re not separate files you can download and send to someone else.

That’s also why you can’t see the old offline backup option in Security anymore.

What you can do is:

use an online backup to roll the file back if needed

create a manual online backup before making big changes

If you need to share info with your business partner, you’d need to export the reports or data they need, or give them access to the live file if that works for you.

If you already have an older offline backup, you can still open it in AccountRight Server Edition or PC Edition 2026.4.
