MYOB Accountright Command Centre

I do not like the new display it seems to me to be doubling up the info unnecessarily for example why do I want to view Customers cards when i can go to card file and see the info if required.  I suggest you put it back to what it was and concentrate on allowing more than one email address when sending invoices or allowing for Bold to be used  or the use of fractions (which i cut and paste out of word) just to mention a few things or maybe you could just ask people what they would like

Is there a one-click button, like 'Try the new Outlook,' that lets us switch back to the old layout?

I just logged in this morning and now my screen looks like the second picture you have uploaded. Yuk. All the other improvements they could make and this is what they spend time on. 

Genreve_S​ I am actually very disappointed in the skin roll out for the new look MYOB.  Not only is it aesthetically displeasing but the visibility of short cut keys to have financial information readily accessible is of utmost concern to the privacy and security of financial information that otherwise would not be readily visible or displayed.   Many users will now have to change permissions or lock their screen so this information cannot be accessed.   Why would any company want to have on display how many invoices are owed or to be paid?  Why would any company want its P&L or Balance Sheet to be readily accessed at a click of a button on its home screen?  For a single user this may be ok but for companies such as ours, where our program is multi-user this is not OK.   Yes I can change the permission setting but then I also have to lock my computer or exit the program when not at my desk so access is not available.

read (in another thread somewhere) that MYOB like to throw random files into test runs to test their updates without letting file owners know ;)

I have actually taken the time to log a ticket through MyAccount as I feel very strongly about the changes MYOB has made to the interface, and the concerns I have around financial data sharing in particular.

If all four files are using the same version of AccountRight, the command centre layout should normally be the same across the board. The only time it might look different is if one file is in the cloud and the others are local, or if there's a newer interface showing up only after a file has been opened post-update.

Since you've already checked preferences, it might also be worth checking if the different layout shows up on another user's login or computer just to rule out any display settings.

If you're still stuck, take a screenshot of the layout that looks different and reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant MOCA or submit a case via MyAccount so they can double check it with you.
