Unfortunately, i still need to work on the file offline, not just to 'read'. I hope they fix this soon. The working offline is why this program was selected in the first place. Couple of my biggest issues is that i constantly do import exports for pricing, inventory upgrades etc. As everyone knows 99.9% of the time it does not go to plan and needs to be tested. Now i need to have everyone out of the system so i can do the ex/imports testing out of hours so it does not effect the live file. not to mention needing backups for reporting purposes - especially when the client changes information!!!
I agree, which is why I posted a request to be able to create a COPY of an online file with temporary access for testing. It's up as a suggestion and needs votes.
