I can see how that would be something to think about when you're traveling. If you want the full AccountRight desktop version while you're away, a Windows laptop is the better option.
You can't install the desktop app on an iPad. If your file is online, you can still sign in on an iPad, tablet or phone using your browser at app.myob.com.
If you're only travelling for a short time and mainly need day-to-day access, the browser version may be enough. But if you rely on features that you normally use on desktop, or you'd rather stick with the layout you're already comfortable with, a Windows laptop will give you the closest match.
So the short version is:
- iPad = browser access only
- Windows laptop = desktop app or browser
- Browser can work well for short-term access, but desktop is still the better fit if you want the most familiar experience

Thanks for your advice, I will do a little investigation into both iPads and laptops and go from there.
