Hi, you can stop updates by disabling the: MYOB ServerEdition UpdateAgent in the Services area. Run: services.msc
locate: MYOB ServerEdition UpdateAgent
Double click to open and in 'Service Status' select Stop, the in
'Startup Type' select Disable and then OK.
Reboot to check and it should now show this service as disabled.
Definately works as I have this disable on our computers.

Sounds like a good option but I am guessing that this is suitable if only one version is required? I run multiple versions for clients so still need the update for the current version to access clients who are continuing to subscribe and work online. By using Gavin's method, I can work on clients' files on my system in multiple versions, and then backup and restore on their systems with the same version they have, as I do for my Classic client files.
