Spam via Forum Private Messages
Hi Everyone
Recently some of you may have received a private message offering Financial Advice. While these users have used the MYOB Community Forum as a platform to send these unsolicited messages, these messages have not come from MYOB. As a result, we recommend that you do not click on any suspicious links.
We are working with our platform provider to prevent these types of posts now in the future. In the meantime, to prevent these things from occurring:
- We have banned the individual usernames created
- Temporarily disabled the private message capabilities of the Community Forum
We do also encourage users that are impacted to temporarily disabled their private messages at their end through My settings>>Preferences>>Private Messanger and disabling Turn on private messages.
