user access irregularity

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry for the delayed response.
If user roles were set and ticked under Set up menu >> User access with Sales and Purchases only, this user shouldn't have access to banking. Kindly try to remove the set roles for this user and click save to see if this user will have access even if it was not set as their role. Also, can I please request a screenshot of your user access so I can take a look into it further?
