Bank Feed Transaction Allocated on Browser, Missing in Desktop & Reports

We have a bank feed transaction of $875.00 from 25/05/26 that we have allocated to our clearing account via the browser version. When I run a report for the allocated account, the transaction is not showing. Additionally, the payment made does not show at all in the desktop version.

I have tried the following to amend this without luck

  • Unmatching transaction
    • This produced an error stating that the transaction had been reconciled and could not be unmatched
    • The reconciliation is only until 31/03/26 for the bank feed account and 30/04/26 for the allocated account, so not applicable. Still, I have unreconciled and tried unmatching but received same error
  • Changed allocation to another account
    • I was able to save this, but then ran the report to check the account and it is appearing as a ghost amount; the figure is out by $875.00 with no transaction recorded
  • Tried in a different bowser
    • Edge and Chrome both produced the same results

Can you assist in resolving this? I have been on hold for over an hour at this stage, and don't believe will get through before 2:00pm when I leave the office as estimated wait time is stating 'over two hours'. We need this fixed ASAP so we reconcile EOM/EOFY.

    Hi _OG_Zentra,

Sorry for the wait, and thank you for laying out everything you’ve already tested. We’re getting a pretty big wave of requests at the moment, so replies are taking a little longer than usual. For this one, it’s worth checking whether the transaction is sitting in the Prepare Electronic Payments window, just to see whether it’s landed there instead of where you’d expect. Make sure to download the bank file if it's there. Another handy check is to run the Company Data Auditor and the Journal Security Audit report, as those can help track down where the transaction is hiding and why it’s showing up like a little accounting ghost.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
