Discrepancies in figures when accessing reports

Hi, Why can I bring up a report in AccountRight on my desktop and the figures are different to the exact same report that I access in the web browser? For example Net Profit on desktop $178560 and ...

    Thanks Mike,

    I started going through each item and figures were very different for a lot of accounts. I decided to switch accounting methods then switched back again on the web browser report and the figures changed to match desktop figures. 

    Maybe it  just needed a technical kick up the rear!!

For us even the accounts Payable report between cloud and desktop were different.  The cloud version shows amounts/ supplier invoices as outstanding even though they were paid.

    Hi Jkoziari,

     

    The reports you get from desktop and browser versions might not always match up, and that's because the two platforms handle transactions a bit differently. Things like the filters and report settings can vary, leading to these differences. When you notice any discrepancies in your reports, it's a good idea to thoroughly review each item line-by-line to figure out what's causing the issue.

      We need to be able to trust these reports.   one of the items you are showing as outstanding is over 10 years.

      PS.  Our accounts receivable reports are incorrect on the cloud version.

        Hi Jkoziari,

         

        The accounts payable reports in the browser version should only display supplier invoices that are unpaid or open. In your case, it includes already paid transactions. For any discrepancies, it's best to get in touch with the support team to troubleshoot the issue. You can create a support ticket from the MyAccount window or use the live chat through MOCA.
