Exporting Item List report to Excel

Hi All,

We've just upgraded to Premier from Plus - in the past when exporting this report (and others) the inventory comes across on a single line making it easy to sort and combine with other data.

But now each product loads into excel on 2 lines with the product code/description on one line and the quantity etc on the next line.

Anyone know of a way to get it to revert just to all the data for each product to be shown on a single line?

Thanks!

Hi DaveKC , you need to put this request in the ideas forum, which has been re-started quite recently, so it is not the totally over-loaded entity that it once was.

I see I was tagged in the second post there. I checked my emails; I received the first post, but not the subsequent replies, so I wasn't aware I had been tagged. This was happening occasionally last year, even though I have tagged the whole section to follow it.

Anyway, using our report writer, we can print picking slips for selected sales transactions using a custom layout, and they can therefore be sorted as you require. (The core MYOB program prints picking slips automatically after invoices have been printed, but you may be printing them one by one by selecting a different form).

Would it matter if the picking slip is in one sequence but the invoice is in another? (Do you send an invoice with the goods?)

None of this capability exists at the moment, so we would need to have a discussion with you off forum. If you wish I can email you about that.

    Hi Mike_James

OK thanks for the heads up - I'll pop something in the ideas forum now. I did actually also speak to someone at MYOB a while ago who was going to forward it to the appropriate team but i haven't heard anything further. I was hoping the upgrade to Premier from Plus would enable this option (the sale person seemed to suggest it would!) but no good alas....

We are currently physically printing an invoice, then 'printing' the Pick Slip as a PDF, then using Acrobat to 'cut and paste' the data into Excel, (which isn't an exact science at all!) then sort using the bin locations, printing it from there. Its very time consuming and annoying!

The invoice and pick slip can be in different sequences.

So if you think you could help - my email is david**.au

    Thanks!
