Exporting reports to Excel failing as using older excel versions prohibited by organisational settings
We export reports to excel a lot for month end reporting analysis etc and we are currently unable to export to excel, getting a trust center issue error (attached).
Our IT provider think this is because MYOB is using an older version of excel that our system doesn't allow, due to IT security requirements. There is a policy in place by our IT company which doesn’t allow 2003 Excel format to be saved due to security reasons. With that version the security on the Microsoft applications become vulnerable.
Can the MYOB export function be set to the latest versions of excel?
This worked up until recently and we are using the latest AccountRight versions on desktop due to custom reporting. It is only for certain people and was fixed with an office update but then occurred againthe next day. Trust centre settings are identical between users or get the error and those who dont so cannot figure out the issue but our IT providers believe it is an MYOB issue?
