how can I run a report that shows all the transactions without a job code?

There are two reports that might help you here. One is the Job Exceptions [Cash Transactions] and the other is the Jobs Exceptions [Invoice Transactions].
They are found towards the bottom of the list of reports in the Accounts tab of the reports window.
