Hi JacintaGT,
I get that you're looking to provide user roles and permissions for job reports only. However, it's not possible to limit access to just job reports, as they fall under the Accounts Reporting section. What you can do instead is manage roles to limit access as much as possible. For more detailed information on how to manage roles, you can check out this Help article: Manage users. If you still have questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
Cheers,

Hi Princess
If we were to provide access to the Accounts Reporting as JacintaGT asked will they be able to access payroll information. We want the user to be able to run the Job Activity Report. Is there a customised report option? Checked Manage Users and doesn't seem to answer this.
Thank you.

Hi Maria6062,
I get what you're after. You want your user to be able to run the Job Activity Report without giving them access to all the payroll info. Good news: giving access to Accounts Reporting won't automatically open up payroll details unless the payroll sections are ticked in Manage Roles, so you're sweet there. And yep, you can customise reports. To show just what you need, here's a link with info about customising reports: Customising reports.

Good morning Sai
Thank you so much for your reply. The Customising reports is wonderful and I have shared it with our team who will find this feature very useful.
In regard to the Accounts Reporting, this does not appear on Setup, User Access, Company file roles. We are running MYOB AccountsRight. We basically need to be able to run a report filtering on the Job Code for purchase information.
Kind regards.

Hey Maria6062,
Love that the customising reports info hit the spot and that you have already shared it with the team. In AccountRight, to keep payroll reports out of reach while still letting them run those Job Code purchase reports, you can do this:
- Go to Setup > User Access
- Open the User Access window and click Manage Roles
- Select the role
- Click Reports for that role
- In the report groups, untick Payroll so they can't access payroll reports
You can also check this link about managing users.
Cheers,
Doreen
