Bar code scanning software
Could anyone recommend barcode scanning hardware (handheld scanner) and software that can be integrated with MYOB AccountRight? Our wholesale business manages close to 1,000 SKUs. Currently, we manually pick and pack orders, but we are considering transitioning to using barcodes for each SKU to enhance accuracy and efficiency. We've received an email about verifying our business for secure invoicing. We don't use any of the online invoicing options and have no plans to. Do we still need to go through the verification process? By verifying will there be any changes to our invoice setup? Hi, I had a random MYOB payment in our bank account but was not recored in MYOB so have no idea who it is from. The amount does not match any invoices. I have tried to call the 1300 783674 line and was on hold for 2 hours and still at position 5, so i had to hung up. I had customers trying to call through. I did a online call back request through our account. Priority service as we pay $200 a month subscription fee. The time frame was 24 hours later, wouldn't call that fast but anyway. They called back today, only to tell me they can't help me, i need to call the phone number. But the current wait time was only "40 mins". Are you kidding me? Is there anyway to get actually support or is that the only way? Getting frustrated. Hi I have an employee who needs to be paid for a couple of days in the middle of a pay cycle. I'm filling in doing the pays while the usual person is on leave so am a bit unsure about this. Hi since the recent 2025.2.1.9 update I can no longer use my left hand keyboard Tab Key function button when entering a date on either an invoice or a quote. You now have to manually type your date in then move the Mouse cursor to enter in further information. When you have multiple entries this is extremely time consuming!! The linked documents do not sync between the two versions. I've been told by the support that at the moment I have to attach the documents on the desktop APP as it doesn't sync when I did that on the browser version. since 2018 I've provided a payroll service for my clients. The payroll transactions are then duplicated in their V19.16 accounts. Some of these clients have now placed their AccountRight files on the cloud I tried speaking to the ATO regarding cancelling my payroll reporting and setting up my clients for STP2 reporting in their own right , but the tax office lines are jammed and my call wasn't answered I'm unsure how to proceed registering my clients as setting them up would mean there would be 2 identical companies reporting on the cloud until I cancelled my payroll service. When updating an invoice, I used to be able to hightlight the text in the 'description' field and copy and paste. There was also the ability to edit text in the description field by placing your cursor when you wanted it and changing or adding text. From a week ago I can no longer highlight description text in invoices, the cursor only wants to be placed at the end of the description and I need to use my up and down and left and right arrows in this field. Double clicking to select a word, or all text in this box doesn't work? This is very frustrating, is anyone else experiencing something similar. (The screenshot shows where the cursor appears no matter where you place in the description field, you can't select text in this field any more, just move the cursor with left, right and up and down keys)90Views2likes4Comments
