I find it strange when running the Bank Reconciliation Report and saw last reconciliation date is 31/10/2023. Is it possible the way it is as I am not in charge of bank reconciliation (I temporarily replace another staff member). I think it should be as close to the recent month as possible (May 2024).
Am I correct? Please advise.

Yes, you are correct. The Bank Reconciliation Report should typically reflect the most recent reconciliation date. If you don't have permission to access bank feeds, that might also be a reason for the discrepancy. If the last reconciliation date is 31/10/2023 and you are currently working in July 2024, it suggests that the bank reconciliations have not been performed regularly or are not up to date.
